Here's the story behind StudyChurch
My name is Tanner and I am the founder and developer of StudyChurch. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you how StudyChurch came to be.
You may be wondering why we've created StudyChurch when there are so many other great applications focused on helping leaders manage their small groups and deliver lesson material. Well, I'm glad you asked.
StudyChurch is not a replacement for your small group management system or your lesson material, instead it is the third piece of the puzzle that connects group management with the study material.
StudyChurch is a place for your small group to gather to work through the lesson together – think of it like a study hall.
StudyChurch is a place for your small group to gather to work through lesson material together
When the small church that I attend started writing it's own small group material and distributing it as word processing documents, I knew there had to be a better way. I envisioned a product that would take this material and make it available to the small group members not just in a more streamlined way, but also in a way that would allow the group to collaborate together online.
"How cool would it be," I thought, "if we could study group material together, share, and discuss answers before class! Then we could really dig in deep when we met in person."
So that's what we've built.
But I wanted to create something simple. Something that could integrate with the tools that you are already using with your small group.
So we've worked hard to keep things clean and easy to use. After all, how useful would StudyChurch be if only a few people in your group could use it?
My goal for your small group is that members would not only engage more, but that the connections and conversation would deepen and that the group would grow to a whole new level.
